Luxury Dupont Circle Wedding
Daisy and Stephen’s wedding at The Sulgrave Club in Dupont Circle, DC was absolutely stunning! Although the couple had changed their wedding plans several times due to the ups and downs of the Covid pandemic, they settled on an intimate wedding with their closest family and friends at the historic woman’s club in the heart of DC. Their guests loved mingling throughout the historic building, and Daisy and Stephen’s first dance in the grand ballroom felt like it was straight out of a fairytale. The Sulgrave Club not only provided the perfect historic elegance that Daisy and Stephen were looking for but also had the perfect sized intimate reception space for their small wedding.
Washington DC Garden Wedding
On the morning of the wedding, the weather report was predicting rain, and it was up in the air as to whether or not Daisy and Stephen would be able to have their ceremony in the outdoor garden. Fortunately, they had invested in absolutely incredible florals – so much so that they brought the bride to tears – so had that been the case it still would have been a beautiful ceremony. Fortunately, the rain held out for this sweet couple and they were able to have a gorgeous outdoor ceremony as planned.
Daisy and Stephen weren’t dealt the easiest hand when it came to wedding planning, but they were incredibly graceful and flexible as their situation unfolded. They focused on their love and the love of those around them and were able to pull off an absolutely gorgeous wedding in the heart of Washington DC. I had such an amazing time photographing these two, and I’m so glad I get to share their photos with you all.
